The new Toklat logo captures a sensitivity in the horse's visage that reinforces the emotional connection riders have with their horses.

Meant to introduce potential customers to a more humane way to bit their horses, the Myler brochure was a busy 4-panel foldout so densely packed with information that some readers shied away. We remade it into a 20-page booklet that's easy to swallow.

A sensible evolution of the original, the new Myler logo also conveys the idea of "porting": a core element in Myler's value claim. If you happen to be a horse, it means you'll be able to swallow more easily.

Designed to appeal to a specific audience, at a certain price point, the creation of these tags followed on-site research at a retail outlet.

In an industry where marketing is relatively new, Toklat realized their need to "get on track" and develop some dynamic materials for promoting their diverse family of equestrian products. We provided not only strategic direction, but also design solutions that would support their brand (beginning with a dramatic redesign of their company logo). Additional work included distilling a dense set of brochure content into a reader-friendly booklet. We intend to help Toklat take and keep the lead over their competition ...while simultaneously reining in costs.
